Davie McPhail - Version 1. This mug is based on a photograph from legendary fly tier Davie McPhail. If you're not familiar with Davie's work do yourself a favour and check out his YouTube channel at Davie McPhail Videos.

This particular design incorporates three of Davie's creations on the Jock Scott pattern, the Blue Jock Scott, the Jock Scott and the Claret Jock Scott. The Jock Scott pattern is a well known classic. It has a very complex wing and body construction that is rarely seen today. We intend to offer many more of Davie's flies in the coming months, so get your orders in for this one as a good start to your collection.
