Lady Amherst - Version 2. The Lady Amherst is an American classic fishing fly, created by George Bonbright back in 1925.
It is favoured as an early season pattern and although it is more common to see anglers using the hairwing version of this fly, the beautiful featherwing version can sometimes be spotted working the river.
This fabulous example has been created by Japanese flytier Yuji Wabe from Tokyo.
